The Michael Witherell Collection (1999-2005) consists of the professional multimedia records of Fermilab’s fourth director. Records of Witherell’s outstanding research career as an experimental high energy physicist from the University of Wisconsin, Princeton University and the University of California in Santa Barbara, precede those of his administrative activities as director within the Collection.
