Halsey Allen
Halsey Allen studied physics at the University of Massachusetts and received his master's degree from Purdue University. He then worked at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory before coming to the National Accelerator Laboratory in August of 1971 as Senior Safety Officer. He later became head of Fermilab's Operations Section in 1973. He left that position at the end of 1976 to rejoin Princeton. He passed away in 2017.
