Dick Carrigan
Dick Carrigan received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and his PhD in physics from the same institution in 1962. He held a position at Carnegie-Mellon University from 1962 to 1968 before coming to Fermilab in 1968. One of the experiments he worked on was E-36, the first experiment at the lab to take data. He retired in 1998.
