David Finley
David Finley received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University in 1970 and his PhD in physics from the same institution in 1978. He had begun doing research at Fermilab as a graduate student, and he became an employee of the lab in 1981, when he became head of the Switchyard Group. He also worked on the experiments E357, E472, E605, E608, E778, MiniBooNE and SciBooNE. In 1985 he was the initial Tevatron run coordinator and he became head of administration and environment, safety, and health in the Accelerator Division in 1991. He later served as head of the Accelerator and Beams Division and was a collaborator on the Dark Energy Survey. He retired in 2017.
