Norman Gelfand
Norman M. Gelfand received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University in 1959 and his PhD in physics from the same institution in 1965. He worked at the University of Chicago’s Enrico Fermi Institute from 1964 until 1980, and he joined Fermilab in 1979.
