Kirk Appointed Associate Neutrino Head

Tom Kirk is briefed on new responsibilities as associate head of Neutrino by Dennis Theriot, Neutrino Department head. Kirk, a Neutrino physicist and formerly an experimenter for several years, assumed duties as associate department head Oct. l. He joined Fermilab after serving as an associate professor at the University of Illinois since 1973. During the previous four years he was an associate professor at Harvard University, after post-doctoral studies there. After completing undergraduate work at the University of Colorado, he received master's and doctorate degrees from the University of Washington.
