Michael S. Witherell (Director from 1999 - 2005)
The Michael Witherell Collection (1999-2005) consists of the professional multimedia records of Fermilab's fourth director. Records of Witherell's outstanding research career as an experimental high energy physicist from the University of Wisconsin, Princeton University and the University of California in Santa Barbara, precede those of his administrative activities as director within the Collection.
Some information about Witherell's involvement as chairman of the U.S. Department of Energy's High Energy Physics Advisory Panel (HEPAP) is part of this collection.
