Kenneth C. Stanfield
Kenneth C. Stanfield received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and his PhD from Harvard University in 1969. He became a user at the lab in 1968 and joined Fermilab’s Proton Department in March 1977 and became Associate Head of the department in June of that year. He also served as head of the Proton Department, head of the Experimental Areas Department, Business Administration Section head, head of the Research Division, and Deputy Director for the lab from 1989 until 2006.
