"Topical Conference Proves Popular Here." The Village Crier, vol. 5, no. 2 (January 11, 1973), page 1
Richard P. Feynman visited Fermilab (then called the National Accelerator Laboratory) from December 8 to 9, 1972, when he attended a conference organized by the NAL Theoretical Physics Group titled "Quarks and Partons: What Good Are They?" It was Feynman's only visit to Fermilab. This front page article from the January 11, 1973 issue of The Village Crier, Fermilab's first employee newsletter, mentions his visit and includes an image of Feynman. The full issue of this Village Crier is available in the Fermilab History and Archives Project's digital collections.
