Dear Dr. Seaborg:
I concur with the recommendation set forth in your
letter of April 5th that the new 200 Bev Accelerator Laboratory being built near Chicago, Illinois be
narned in honor of Dr. Enrico Fermi.
It is my understanding that the Commission will
indicate its intention in the near future, although
the actual naming will not occur until completion
of construction some years hence.
